Parmesan Chicken Tenders

Welcome to another easy-peasy recipe and another family favourite chicken dish! This recipe uses chicken breast fillets, which are on sale at No Frills this week for $4.97/lb. They are quick and convenient because they are already sliced, but you can use whole chicken breast and cut them into strips yourself. Chicken breast is bland, dries out easily and needs lots of flavour, so this method delivers. They are moist and delicious. Serve them with some roasted potatoes and a nice green veg and you’ve got yourself a meal!



2 lbs Chicken breast fillets

1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1 Tbsp dried oregano

1 Tbsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

3/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1/2 cup butter



Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine the cheese and spices in a large flat container. Place the butter in a 9×13″ pan and place in oven to melt. Once melted, remove from oven.

Roll each chicken fillet in the melted butter and then roll in the cheese mixture. Set on a separate plate. When all the chicken has been coated, arrange back in the 9×13″ pan.

Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes. That’s it, enjoy!
